2021 On-Sale Liquor License Relief/Refund

With our local on-sale liquor license holders being forced, once again, to close and/or reduce their business due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the City of Bemidji Council approved a 50% refund/ reduction of their on-sale liquor license fees for 2021 license renewals.

The majority of the “full” on-sale intoxicating liquor license holders will receive a refund of approximately $1,990.00. That amount includes the liquor license fee and the Sunday liquor fee, if applicable. The on-sale beer/wine liquor license holders will receive a refund of approximately
$440.00. Other on-sale license holders will receive refunds, including: 3.2 beer on-sale; club on-sale; annual consumption and display; taproom on-sale and Sunday taproom on-sale.

Notices of this refund were mailed to license holders, and the checks will be mailed out on December 22. For questions, please contact the City Clerk at 218.759.3570
